Information for Building Coordinators: Dwinelle HallApril 11, 2008

This morning, UCPD received an anonymous telephone call advising of a possible bomb threat in Dwinelle Hall. UCPD reviewed the facts associated with the anonymous nature of the call, the lack of specificity and detail associated with the call. UCPD did not find this call to be credible or pose an immediate risk.

However, UCPD responded to Dwinelle and conducted a sweep with our bomb canines. We have contacted members of the facility and feel it is appropriate to notify those people of this incident. We ask that, should anyone see anything out of the ordinary or suspicious to contact UCPD immediately.
