What To Do In Case Of A Terrorrism Attack

Get Informed

  • A terrorist threat or attack may come in many different forms, and our local Public Safety personnel will likely be the first responders. In the event of an attack, threat or incident that necessitates action by the campus community, information will be disseminated as quickly as possible to inform the public of protective steps and measures. The Alerting and Warning System is one such tool that may be employed for rapid notification of an emergency condition. If you hear the sirens on a non-test day, follow the Shelter, Shut and Listen protocols for the Alerting and Warning System. Information on what to do will be available by web, phone and FM radio channels. For additional information on terrorism, see the Emergencies-Terrorism section. Check the campus home page and emergency home page for continuing updates on campus emergency conditions.
